How do I add a team member?

If you run your charter with the help of other captains, mates, or crew members, the Team Members feature lets you add them to your FishingBooker account.

Each team member can be assigned a role and access level, which determines what charter information they can see and how they appear as part of your crew on your listing.

This helps you delegate responsibilities and manage your charter business more efficiently while keeping control over important booking and account details. Access levels can also be updated at any time if a team member’s responsibilities change.

How to add a team member

To add someone to your team:

    1. Go to Business
    2. Select Team Members from the dropdown menu
    3. Click Add member
    4. Select a team member role (for example Captain, First mate, or Business partner)
    5. Enter the team member’s first and last name, and upload their photo if available
    6. Choose which listings they should be assigned to
    7. Select their access level under Set team member access
    8. Review the invitation and click Send invite

Once they accept the invitation, they’ll appear as part of your team.

    Team member roles

When inviting someone to your team, you’ll first choose their role. This helps describe how they contribute to your charter business.

    Available roles include:

    • Captain
A licensed charter operator who runs trips.
    • First mate
      Assists the captain during trips.
    • Business partner
Someone who helps manage the charter business.
    • Other
Support roles such as maintenance, cleaning, or similar operational help.

Roles help define how each person contributes to your charter business and how they appear as part of your crew on your listing.

    Team member access levels

After selecting a role, you’ll choose the team member’s access level.

    Upcoming bookings

Team members with this access level:

    • Appear on your listing
    • Can see upcoming bookings

This level is best for captains, mates, or business partners who help manage trips and bookings.

    No access

    Team members with No access:

    • Appear on your listing
    • Cannot booking information
    • Do not have access to additional charter details

This option is useful for team members who are part of your crew but don’t need access to operational information.
