Use Trip Itineraries to set customer expectations

Learn how to set up Trip Itineraries that show customers what they can expect on your trips.

Trip Itineraries let you create a clear, step-by-step plan of your experience and display it directly on your listing. From the meeting point to the ride back to the dock, anglers can see how the day unfolds before they book.

    What are Trip Itineraries?

    Trip Itineraries allow you to:

    • Create a structured, step-by-step plan for each trip
    • Add titles and descriptions for every step
    • Set durations (for example, 15 min safety briefing or 1 hr cruise)
    • Organize steps by day for multi-day trips
    • Reorder steps anytime
    • Publish your itinerary so customers can see it on your listing

For multiday trips, each trip can have one itinerary per day, representing the full experience from start to finish.

    How customers see your itinerary

Once published, your itinerary appears directly on your trip card on the charter view page.

    Customers can:

    • View the full schedule for the day
    • See durations for key parts of the trip
    • Expand multi-day trips and review each day separately

If an itinerary is not published, customers won’t see it.

For multi-day trips, each day has its own itinerary section so anglers understand exactly how the experience is structured.

    How to create an itinerary

    You can manage itineraries in:

    Manage Listings → Trips

    To create or edit:

    1. Go to Manage Listings → Trips
    2. Select the trip (e.g. Half Day Trip AM)
    3. Click Add itinerary or Edit itinerary
    4. Add steps with titles, descriptions, and durations
    5. Reorder them as needed
    6. Click Publish to make it visible to customers

For each trip, you’ll see one of the following:

    • Add itinerary – if no itinerary exists yet
    • Finish itinerary – if it’s created but not published
    • Edit itinerary – if it’s already published

    Important:
If you edit a published itinerary, it will temporarily become unpublished while you make changes. Once you publish again, it becomes visible on your listing.

    Multi-day trips

Trip Itineraries fully support multi-day trips. Just add a separate itinerary for each day, clearly outline what happens on Day 1, Day 2, and beyond. This will give customers a complete picture of the full experience.

    Why add a Trip Itinerary?

    A clear itinerary helps you:

    • Set expectations before the trip
    • Answer common questions upfront
    • Show the structure and value of your experience
    • Build confidence with new customers

The more clearly anglers understand what they’re booking, the more confident they feel hitting “Book now.”
