What should I do if a trip was cut short?

Depending on the reason why the trip was cut short, either you or the customer will be eligible for a partial refund of the deposit.

If you mutually decide to cut the trip short, you need to adjust the remaining balance to reflect the number of hours you spent on the water with the customer.

In order to do this, you can refer to other trip packages you have. Make sure to deduct the percentage of the commission, as FishingBooker will issue a partial refund of the deposit to the customer.

If the customer decided to cut the trip short and you did not agree, you'll be eligible to receive a partial refund of their trip deposit. When the customer makes changes to their reservation in violation of your cancellation policy, you should charge them the full amount of the remaining balance.

Contact us to let us know about the changes, and we will adjust the deposit amount.
