Bad Weather and Boat Malfunction Cancellations 

Safety is of the utmost priority for FishingBooker. If it is unsafe to run a trip due to a boat malfunction or bad weather, you should cancel the reservation on FishingBooker and the deposit will be returned to the customer with no further action.

Emergencies & Extenuating Circumstances

If you were forced to cancel due to an emergency, the deposit will also be returned to the customer with no further action. If you received a notice that any changes were applied to your listing following an emergency cancellation, please contact us.

FishingBooker reviews all cancellations and may require further documentation to confirm your reason for canceling.

Scheduling Conflicts

If you need to cancel a trip because of another commitment and didn't block the date off in your calendar, it will be considered to be your responsibility. These cancellations negatively affect your reliability score, which is one of the main factors in determining ranking. This means that canceling trips can negatively impact your ranking on FishingBooker. An automatic cancellation review will also be posted on your listing.

Instant Book Cancellations

If you cancel more than three trips reserved via Instant Book in one year due to scheduling conflicts, the feature will be turned off. You will only be able to reactivate the feature one year from the date of the first canceled trip.
